Fresh caught marlin steamed “Balinese Style” – already half eaten...

...served with 'chips' and salad. And I was worried I wouldn't get enough vegetables!

 

The boats bring in the catch of the day and the PadangBai restaurants place the assortment whole fish on a plate outside the door for would-be diners to browse and choose. First night – grilled barracuda, last night I went for Balinese style. Good choice!

 

Real stories coming soon – promise! But I may have to finish writing them when I get home (or perhaps during the two-day journey). Videos too – if I can figure out how to convert them to a format that works in WordPress!
